I’ve driven one. Very different feel than what you’d expect. Decent amount of body roll, vague steering and very boaty feeling even though they’re not large cars. They feel fairly imprecise, good for long trips. Very different feel than an American car of the time. Still looks good though.

Can’t say I was disappointed, but I certainly wasn’t impressed.

Always thought these were cool, no quite on my short list of cars I MUST own, but if a deal came up right place, right time I am sure I would pounce. Just looked at the ad, better be pretty nice at that price.

Not surprising, considering it is a construction dating back to a late 50's passenger car.. That said, there are a lot of performance parts available to make it feel more precise.

There was one of these by me recently. Was a little rough and needed some paint

But the engine was just rebuilt and interior was solid. $6500 OBO. If this is what they want fully restored, ill take the project version.
